01 / DesktopPet
Seven little personalities.
One companion at a time. A name of their own. A little place on your desktop.
A small friend. Yours to keep.
The orange cat is free. Preview the other six companions' looks and animations before buying: Shiba Inu, Rabbit, Hamster, Ragdoll, Black cat and Corgi. Unlock a single companion or buy the six-companion collection. Purchases are permanent, with no subscription. The collection includes these six companions; future additions are not included. Previous individual purchases do not reduce the collection price.
02 / COMPANY, WITHOUT THE CHORES
Closer, at your own pace.
Build a bond through voluntary interactions and time together. Five relationship levels bring warmer responses, with no lost affection when you are away. Holiday greetings follow your Mac's region. Choose English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French or German, or follow the system language.
03 / A LITTLE PRESENCE. ROOM TO WORK.
At home on your Mac.
A little company while you work, study or unwind. Your original pixel companion strolls near the bottom of your Mac's screen, naps, stretches and responds to a gentle click. Give it a name, offer a snack, play fetch, chase a toy or try a hurdle run.
DesktopPet stays in the menu bar. Close Settings to keep your companion on the desktop. Transparent pixels let clicks pass through. Reduce Motion is respected, and sound and launch at login are optional. Purchased companions work offline once Apple has made their verified purchase records available on your Mac. Internet access is needed to buy or restore purchases.
